Description

The last piece still needs to be trimmed down to the shape of the scabbard. And after that I have to finish shaping the of the overall scabbard.  

Originally I was going to use Basswood covered with leather for the scabbard, but I came across some thin Purpleheart mill scraps I picked up earlier this year, and changed my mind. I think it will go well with the Purpleheart handled dagger I am working on.

I like your craftsmanship. and I think your right. The scabbard matching the handle will look awesome. I await seeing the finished piece. I hope you give a good polish to the scabbard. It will make the grain of the wood look so nice!
